1. What is a Mobile Clothing Store?
A mobile clothing store is a store on wheels. You come inside my truck and shop. I have a full sized dressing room, mirrors, lights and air conditioning for those hot days and a heater for those cool nights!
2. How will I know what event you’ll be at next?
I have a Calendar which tells my public locations for events. I am also posting my location on Facebook. So be sure to follow me. I travel to festivals, events, private home parties, corporate parties and more!
3. Do you have clothes in stock?
Yes! I am always fully stocked! But once the dress is gone, I will more than likely replace it with something different, so get it while I have it.
4. Where do you get your clothes?
I purchase my clothes from designers in L.A. So what you see in my truck won’t be at any retail store in your area. They are also brand new pieces! I do not (nor have I ever) carry pre-owned clothes/consignment pieces.
5. What sizes do you carry?
My sizes range from 4-24. I carry S-M-L 1X, 2X, & 3X. So all of your friends can shop in one store at the same time!
6. Do you take debit or credit?
I do! I take all major credit cards and debit cards. I also take cash. I unfortunately do not take checks.
7. How much is a “private home party?”
It doesn’t cost you a penny if you live within an hour of Weddington, NC. Any place beyond that, there is a $100 travel fee. (No more than 2 hours away)
Typically parties are on Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays so book ahead of time.
8. How much advance notice do you need for a home party?
If I’m not booked, I’ll just need a few day’s notice. It’s good to book your home party a week or two in advance though, that way you can invite your friends and give them notice.
9. What is a House Call?
House Calls are only done Monday-Thursday during the day. Let's say you need a new outfit for an upcoming event and you don't want to travel to the Mall. I will drive up to your house with my mobile store and you can shop in the convenience of your driveway. House Calls range from 20-45 minutes. There is a minimum purchase of $125, so be sure to check out my website before calling to schedule a house call. ***Currently not accepting any day time house calls at this time.*** Call for evening hours.
10. How many friends can I invite?
The more the merrier! There must be a minimum of 10 guests in attendance to host a party. You will get some great discounts/freebies for hosting a party with Curvaceous Closet. Call for more details.
11. Can I place an order online?
Absolutely! See something you like on the website? Contact me and I'll send you an invoice. Once it's paid, I'll ship out your item. All items have free shipping if mailed within the U.S.
12. What if I buy something and it doesn’t fit?
At Curvaceous Closet®, I want you to be happy with your purchase! If it doesn’t fit, or you get it home and you just don’t love it, you can exchange it for another size or get a store credit within 7 days. You must have your receipt. Original tags must be on the item, the item cannot have been worn or washed. ***All Sales are Final with Jewelry, Shoes & Sale Items*** Buyer is responsible for shipping.
13. What if I want you to come to my upcoming Event as a Vendor?
I would love to come to your event, however, I have one stipulation. If you are inviting me to your event to be a vendor, I will not pay a vendor fee. I have many events that I can attend a year. I will only pay a fee if I am choosing to be a vendor there. So please don't invite me if you intend on me paying a fee.
